St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is fully committed to the safety and well-being of
children and vulnerable persons and protecting them from harm. The Society Child Protection
Policy, Child Protection Strategy and associated Recruitment Screening and Suitability Policy
establish a framework for all aspects of the Society’s work, for all staff and volunteers.

Disaster relief, including ongoing support to help rebuild lives
The provision of low or no cost food, so people can feed themselves and their families
Family Support Centres, which provide in-kind goods and services to people in need
Emergency relief, to pay for utilities, rent or food
Programs to educate parents and communities, with a prevention focus to support families to stay together and protect the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
