What is Transitional Housing?
Transitional Housing provides safe, secure and affordable independent accommodation to eligible people in the greatest need, whose needs are not adequately met by other housing options, for the duration of that need. These properties are independent living and allow the household to transition out of crisis into long term independent housing solutions.
Who can access this program?
To be eligible for transitional accommodation in these houses, applicants must meet program criteria. Due to demand, availability may be limited, however the Society will seek to source alternative accommodation options for those in need.
