The St Vincent de Paul Queensland Home Assist Secure (HAS) program can help people over 60 years of age and people with a disability feel safer living at home, improve physical access to that home and incorporate home security routines into their daily activities.
There are three HAS programs in Queensland located in Mackay, Redlands and Gold Coast South.
The Program provides free information and referrals about home maintenance, falls prevention, repairs and modifications and home security. Subsidised assistance for minor home maintenance, repairs and modifications which relate to health, safety and security, is also available for eligible clients.
